Thank you for your interest in becoming
a minister with the Native-American Ministerial Association (NAMA). Here is how to proceed:
1. You must have been a member of NAMA for one (1) year prior to applying.
2. Fill out the application.
3. Be sure to sign the application.
4. Give the application to one of the Acting Directors, or mail to:
Native-American Ministerial Association
5. The
Acting Directors will review your application for completeness.
They will then forward it to the Board of Elders for review
and approval.
6. Since the Elder Board meets periodically throughout the year, it may be some months
before they review your application and arrange for
interviews. Call if you need clarification on the status of your application.
7. You will be informed by an Acting Director of the Board of Elders’ action. If approved, they will schedule a time for you to
receiving your credential at a future NAMA event.
8. If approved, you will be required to maintain
an accountability relation-
ship with another NAMA minister and make annual reports of your ministry activities.
