We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We
believe that the Son, called the Word in the Gospel of John, became flesh through the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, while
continuing to maintain His deity when He became fully human.
We believe that the original manuscripts which make up our Bible
were God-breathed and are our final authority for faith and practice.
We believe the Gospels' account of Jesus' sinless life,
His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and ascension, and the promise of His bodily return in great power and glory.
We
believe that man was created in the image of God, but that through sin he brought upon himself physical and spiritual death, and that
possessing a sinful nature by birth, man becomes an actual sinner by his own choice.
We believe that salvation is the free gift
of God, that it is salvation from the penalty, presence, and power of sin through personal repentance toward God and faith in the
vicarious and atoning death of our Lord Jesus Christ and His bodily resurrection.
We believe that the Holy Spirit, who was given
to the Church on the day of Pentecost, was meant to be a continuing fulfillment of the promise of the Father, empowering the Christian
to live a Godly life and to minister to others through the spiritual gifts. The Spirit is a gift of the Lord Jesus, received
by faith.
We believe in a life characterized by prayer, service, and a Godly lifestyle.
We believe in the resurrection from
the dead of both the saved and the lost--the saved to an eternal life with Jesus and the lost to eternal hell.
