Unity Agreement
Because God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for the sins of the world and to establish His Church; and Because w have been called to that One Body for salvation, through faith in Jesus Christ; and Because God has sent the Holy Spirit to indwell us, so we can live the Life of God; therefore,

As leaders in the Body of Christ, we agree to:

 1. Recognize the final authority of the Scriptures in all matters pertaining to faith and its application.

2. Focus on the foundational doctrines with which we agree (see Statement of Faith).

3. Honor the Church traditions that have brought life in the past and encourage those that continue to bring life to God’s people today.

4. Recognize and respect those that Jesus has called to spiritual leadership in the one flock.

5. Forgive where we have perceived offense.

6. Ask forgiveness where we have offended.

7. Walk in humility, bearing each other’s burdens.

8. Work toward like-mindedness, having the same love, and being one in Spirit and purpose.

9. Encourage each other in Godly living and dependence on Him.

10. Pray for the well-being of the Church and its ministries in the spirit of unity and continuing to work for and preserve the harmony of the Body of Christ.

11. Teach the Body to appreciate our diversity, while we maintain unity and harmony in the faith.

We see ourselves as fellow servants of Christ for the sake of the One Body. Our goal is that because of our unity, the world would believe God sent His Son, Jesus. We will contend as one for the faith of the Gospel.
